You are invited to join us for a very special weekend in Minneapolis, September 13-15, 2019 as we inaugurate the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation Minnesota Art Prize.
Over the course of three days, our Minnesota Art Prize Weekend will feature a benefit exhibition hosted by Burnet Fine Art in Wayzata, Fierce Generosity 2.0, with 25% of art sales directly benefiting the launch of the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation Minnesota Art Prize. The recipient of the inaugural prize is David Rathman, a Minneapolis based artist who’s talent and need are deserving of a $5,000 unrestricted cash grant, and a residency in Ojai at the Ojai Institute, a new initiative of the Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation. The weekend will also feature a kickoff dinner at the Morrison Family Residence on Wayzata Bay, a benefit Gala Brunch at the critically acclaimed Bellecour restaurant, an artist panel discussion, artist studio visits, and a visit to the private art collection of Peggy & Ralph Burnet.
