Thursday, August 22, Art Journey Los Angeles – 
Day trip led by Frederick Janka, Executive Director, to visit Mary Corse: A Survey in Light at LACMA, followed by a visit to the Hammer Museum to attend a tour of Sarah Lucas Au Natural led by artist Kelly Akashi. Akashi is the 2019 Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation Art Prize Recipient. Members will enjoy dinner at Audrey, the Hammer Museum’s art filled new restaurant.

Thursday, September 5, Santa Barbara Downtown First Thursdays at the Gallery at Hotel Indigo Santa Barbara – reception and guided tours of the current exhibition XANADU featuring works by Cassandria Blackmore, Matthew Brannon, Paul Demuro, Cameron Gainer, Gary Lang, Ruth Pastine, Enoc Perez, Aaron Spangler, Wolfgang Tillmans, Russell Young, Beatrice Wood. (This event will repeat every First Thursday through February)

Thursday, September 12, Making It Forum Series, Arts Response Forum, Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation, Ojai – What were the creative ways that artists and arts organizations responded to the Thomas Fire? Celebrate the many creative ways that the arts community provided recovery support and envision what more we can do to help ongoing efforts, to prepare for future crises, and to build a stronger Ventura County. In conjunction with the Creative Community Thomas Fire Recovery Grant program, and presented by CreativityWorks & the VC Long Term Disaster Recovery Group, with support from the Ventura County Arts Council & the Ventura County Community Foundation.

September 13-15, Art Journey Minnesota Art Prize Weekend – Three days of events, conversations, curator led museum, gallery, private collection and studio visits, as well as a benefit exhibition to support the inaugural Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation Minnesota Art Prize Celebrating David Rathman. Fierce Generosity 2.0 will be on view at Burnet Fine Art, Wayzata, September 14 – October 19, with works by Rob Fischer, Cole M James, Yassi Mazandi, Ruth Pastine, David Rathman, and Aaron Spangler. Carolyn Glasoe Bailey Foundation Minnesota Art Prize Weekend.

Saturday, October 5, Reception for Ojai Valley Student Art Exhibition – Presenting works by Ojai Valley student artists and kicking off the 2019/2020 Student Artist Mentorship for New Art Leaders Program.

Saturday, November 16, Reception & Artist Dinner for Cole M James in Residence – L.A. based interdisciplinary artist will be in residence and also present an exhibition of recent works. In partnership with Oakgrove School and Ojai Unified School District.
