Annual Ojai Student Art Exhibition
Exhibition Dates: Saturday, October 6 – Sunday, October 28, 2018

The goal of this free program is to educate student artists in the process of exhibiting their artwork as a professional artist. This program is open to all students living in the Ojai Valley in grades 9 – 12 or similar age group.

Each student artist receives coaching lead by Frederick Janka, Executive Director, on how to present artworks as a cohesive presentation of their own artwork. They will learn write an artist’s statement, help promote their exhibition, attend the opening reception, and be prepared to discuss their work.

In addition, each exhibiting student artist will receive a $100 grant for art supplies, and participate in an optional day trip to Los Angeles with a family member to receive a special tour of the Marciano Art Foundation.
